It\u2019s that good!<\/p>\n<p>This simple, easy, non-oily chicken soup has its roots in roots! There is no frying, no added oil or butter, no major prep involved and it\u2019s super yummy and so good for you. Bone broth is super rich in protein and minerals and will help you through this winter season especially if you load it up with garlic and chili!<\/p>\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6102\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn5.healthcoachinstitute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IMG_4837-1-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.healthcoachinstitute.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IMG_4837-1-225x300.png 225w, https:\/\/www.healthcoachinstitute.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IMG_4837-1.png 479w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h2>What you need for your soup:<\/h2>\n<p>1 whole chicken (preferably organic)<br \/>\nRoot veggies (2 turnips, 4 parsnips, 1 celery root, 4 carrots, 1 rutabaga)<br \/>\n3 leeks<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic (optional)<br \/>\nFresh herbs (1 bunch dill, 1 bunch parsley or whatever other herbs you prefer)<br \/>\n1 red chili (optional)<br \/>\nSalt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n<p>How to make your soup:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the washed herbs at the bottom of a large pot<\/li>\n<li>Place the washed whole chicken on top<\/li>\n<li>Chop up all your root veggies (mix and match to your taste) and throw them in the pot<\/li>\n<li>Chop up the leeks into large chunks and throw them in to the pot<\/li>\n<li>Throw in the garlic cloves whole or chop them up<\/li>\n<li>Add salt, pepper and chili (optional) to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bring the soup to a boil and then lower it to a simmer immediately, skimming off any of the white foam on the top using a ladle or large spoon. Put a lid on it and let it simmer on low for an hour to an hour and a half. Bone broth is super rich in protein and minerals and will help you through this winter season especially if you load it up with garlic and chili!\n<h3><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6102\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn5.healthcoachinstitute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IMG_4837-1-225x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/h3>\n<h2>What you need for your soup:<\/h2>\n1 whole chicken (preferably organic)\nRoot veggies (2 turnips, 4 parsnips, 1 celery root, 4 carrots, 1 rutabaga)\n3 leeks\n3 cloves garlic (optional)\nFresh herbs (1 bunch dill, 1 bunch parsley or whatever other herbs you prefer)\n1 red chili (optional)\nSalt &amp; pepper\n\nHow to make your soup:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Place the washed herbs at the bottom of a large pot<\/li>\n \t<li>Place the washed whole chicken on top<\/li>\n \t<li>Chop up all your root veggies (mix and match to your taste) and throw them in the pot<\/li>\n \t<li>Chop up the leeks into large chunks and throw them in to the pot<\/li>\n \t<li>Throw in the garlic cloves whole or chop them up<\/li>\n \t<li>Add salt, pepper and chili (optional) to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nBring the soup to a boil and then lower it to a simmer immediately, skimming off any of the white foam on the top using a ladle or large spoon. Put a lid on it and let it simmer on low for an hour to an hour and a half.
